1. General Terms of Sale

  • By purchasing from HiFi House of Sound, the customer agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions. All sales are final upon acceptance of payment unless otherwise specified in this document.

  • These terms apply to all audio equipment, turntables, speakers, amplifiers, accessories, and any other products sold by HiFi House of Sound.

2. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required at the time of purchase unless a payment plan is agreed upon in writing.

  • Accepted forms of payment include credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods listed on our website or in-store.

  • Payment plans, where available, are subject to approval and may require a credit check.

3. Order Confirmation and Processing

  • Orders are confirmed once payment is received and verified. An email confirmation will be sent to the provided contact details.

  • Processing and shipping times may vary depending on stock availability and shipping location. Customers will be notified of any delays.

4. Shipping Policy

  • HiFi House of Sound offers various shipping options, including standard, expedited, and insured options. All shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

  • The customer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the shipping address. HiFi House of Sound is not liable for delays or losses due to incorrect information.

  • Shipping insurance is recommended for high-value items, as HiFi House of Sound is not responsible for damages or losses incurred during transit if insurance is not purchased.

5. Return Policy

  • Eligibility for Returns: HiFi House of Sound accepts returns on select items within 2 days of purchase, subject to conditions outlined below. Opened items or used products may be subject to a restocking fee of 15%-%20. Full refund available within 2 business days, thereafter an in-store credit is available within 15 days of purchase. 

  • Non-Returnable Items: Certain items, including but not limited to, limited edition products, clearance items, previously owned and special orders & labor are non-returnable. These items will be clearly marked on the receipt.

  • Condition Requirements: All returned items must be in new, unused condition with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation. Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused or subject to a reduced refund.

  • Return Process: Contact HiFi House of Sound for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before returning any item. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

  • Return Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged or incorrectly fulfilled by HiFi House of Sound.

  • Refunds: Once the returned item is inspected and approved, a refund will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider. 

6. Warranty Information

  • Manufacturer Warranty: Many products sold by HiFi House of Sound are covered by a manufacturer warranty. Warranty details vary by product and manufacturer and are outlined in the product packaging.

  • Extended Warranty Plans: HiFi House of Sound offers extended warranty plans on select products. Please inquire at the time of purchase if interested.

  • Warranty Claims: Warranty claims must be directed to the product manufacturer. HiFi House of Sound can assist customers in facilitating contact with the manufacturer but is not liable for warranty repairs, replacements, or rejections.

7. Repairs and Maintenance Services

  • HiFi House of Sound offers repair and maintenance services for specific brands and models. Charges may apply depending on warranty coverage or the extent of repairs.

  • Any item left for repair with HiFi House of Sound must be collected within 30 days after notification that the repair is complete. Unclaimed items may incur additional storage fees.

8. Product Availability and Pricing

  • Prices are subject to change without notice. All pricing, promotions, and availability of products are as advertised at the time of purchase.

  • In the event of a pricing error, HiFi House of Sound reserves the right to cancel orders affected by the error and will issue a full refund.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • HiFi House of Sound is not liable for any damages arising from the use, misuse, or inability to use any product purchased.

  • The maximum liability of HiFi House of Sound for any purchase is limited to the purchase price of the product.

10. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved through arbitration in the jurisdiction of British Columbia, Canada. By purchasing, the customer agrees to waive any right to participate in a class action or collective claim.

11. Modifications to Terms and Conditions

  • HiFi House of Sound reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website or communicated via email.
